All etchings and mezzotints are printed with oil based inks onto german and Italian printmaking paper. I make my original plates from zinc or copper and etch in an acid bath. My images are inspired by the natural world around me here in beautiful Golden Bay NZ. I want to highlight the delicate beauty of plants, animals and birds as a reminder to us to protect our environment.
